I'm having some troubles with the brakes of my 2020 Chevrolet Trax LT AWD. Does anyone here know the exact size of the flat o-ring on the rear caliper? I don't know why the seal is already shot when it only has about 55,000 miles on it. The brakes have also been hanging up pretty bad lately. I'm not sure which I should bleed first between the brakes and the ABS, or does the sequence even matter? I'd appreciate getting some advice.

The flat o-ring on your Trax rear caliper is usually about 39mm, for bleeding, you can start with the brakes first, then the ABS...that sequence helps clear air better

@JohnnyBravo Thanks for dropping the size info, that helps a lot not only for OP but for a lot of people here for sure. I agree on bleeding the brakes first. It's easier to troubleshoot before getting into the ABS.

O ring size isn't usually sold separate, it typically comes with a caliper rebuild kit or replacement caliper and at 55k a stuck slide pin or seized piston could be causing the drag too.
