Upping the Tire Size

Thinking about bumping up the tire size on my '21 mostly for looks though and a bit more ground clearance, the stock setup feels a little undersized, and I wouldn't mind filling out the wheel wells a bit more without going full lift or messing with the speedo too much. what sizes have you tried that don't rub or require trimming. Would like to avoid any weird ride quality issues or stressing the CVs. If you've upsized and it's working out, let me know what you're running and if it needed spacers or reprogramming anything

@Chevyhead my general rule of thumb is to calculate the overall diameter of your stock tire, and then look for a replacement that's no more than about an inch taller.
Even that small increase can make a big visual difference and give you that bit of clearance
Anything more, and you start risking rubbing at full steering lock or suspension compression, and that's when trimming or even mild lifting comes into play. For speedometer issues, a 1-inch bump usually results in a minor (2-3%) difference that most don't bother reprogramming for

I think a lot of folks with a 2021 have good luck with a 275/60R20 or a 275/65R18 if staying with the stock wheels.. Both of those generally fit without rubbing or needing any trimming, and they give you that fuller look and a bit more clearance without messing with the ride too much. You shouldn't need spacers or speedo reprogramming with those sizes either, as the overall diameter change is pretty minimal. Those should be generally safe bets but individual vehicle tolerances can vary!

I ended up going with 225/60R17 tires on my 2020 and they fit great without any rubbing or modifications.
It definitely fills out the wheel wells better and gives a noticeable boost in ground clearance without messing with the ride quality or triggering any speedo issues worth worrying about.
No spacers or reprogramming needed either.
It's a good middle-ground if you want that beefier look without the headache!

You wont need spacers or a reflash either, fills out the wells nicely without messing with the geometry too much, check clearance at full lock and over bumps, but that size's been trouble free for me.
