I got myself a 23 chevy trax about a week ago, it's blue, and I love the color. I wanted to paint the rims the same blue color too, as I like my car aaaall blue. what do you think guys, is this a good idea or a bad one?
I think painting the rims blue is a cool idea. It will match your car perfectly. Go for it!I got myself a 23 chevy trax about a week ago, it's blue, and I love the color. if that's what you like then that's cool 100%!!! just want to ask where are you gonna have it done? like an independent auto paint shop or your dealer offers something of the sorts?I wanted to paint the rims the same blue color too, as I like my car aaaall blue.
I'm thinking about painting it a darker blue, not exactly the same blueimo I'd go for a different color to have a bit of contrast. if you do decide to repaint them I'd way take them to a shop and have it done professionally. I've repainted wheels in the past, it's doable, but it's a pain in the ass project which takes time and you'll probably won't get the desired results
if you like it go for, seriously. My advice it so check the current condition of the wheels. If they're not too scuffed and damaged you won't have a lot of work apart from painting. If there are scuffs and scratches you'll need to put some elbow grease to smootht hem outI'm thinking about painting it a darker blue, not exactly the same blue
I'm sure it would look great, just make sure to choose an auto shop that has a good reputation for thisI got myself a 23 chevy trax about a week ago, it's blue, and I love the color. Congrats on the new Trax! I love that you're going for something bold. If you match the rims just right, it can look amazing, but remember to go for powder coating instead of spray paint for that extra durability. I've seen some all-color builds really shine when there's a bit of contrast, like a glossy finish on a matte base. If it makes you smile every time you see it, then go for itI got myself a 23 chevy trax about a week ago, it's blue, and I love the color.
