My Chevy Trax began to blow warm air through the AC and considering the temps, I'm not too fond of driving it. What could cause this and is there something I can check myself before I take it to a shop?
First thing I'd check is whether the compressor is kicking on when you turn the AC to max coz if it's not, it could be low refrigerant, a bad relay, or the compressor itself. Low refrigerant is the most common though and you can get a gauge kit at the parts store to check pressure. My Chevy Trax began to blow warm air through the AC and considering the temps, I'm not too fond of driving it.
